The best course depends on individual interests and future goals. It is essential to consider your own passions and career aspirations when choosing a course. However, personally, I would recommend Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT) as they tend to have good career prospects. These fields are in high demand, and many top-paying companies actively recruit students from these branches. Pursuing CSE or IT can provide you with a wide range of job opportunities in the tech industry, including software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, and more.

The CGPA provided for a student by JNTUK is the Cumulative grade point for a student’s overall performance throughout all the semesters in a program. The CGPA is calculated by taking into account all the courses undergone by a student in all the semesters of a programme, i.e. CGPA = Σ (Ci X Si) / ΣCi Where Si is the SGPA of the ith semester and Ci is the total number of credits in that semester.

If you miss the internal exam, you will be given zero marks for the respective subject. This can be detrimental because the internal marks from unit tests contribute to the overall internal marks, which are necessary to pass the semester. Failing to obtain the required internal marks can result in having an internal backlog. Similarly, if you miss the semester exam, you will be marked absent, and you will have a backlog for that particular subject. To clear the backlog, you will need to appear for a retest in the next semester, which can add to your academic workload and may delay your progress.
