No, candidates cannot get admission in IIT Patna BTech without JEE scores. The seats are allotted to aspirants in preferred BTech branch based on their JEE Advanced scores via JoSAA Counselling.

IIT Patna offers a four-year full-time BTech course. The institute offers BTech is 11 specialisations. Some of them include, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Chemical Engineering, etc.

There are 86 seats available in Computer Science and Engineering specialisation of BTech at IIT Patna. The seats in CSE are allotted via JoSAA Counselling based on JEE Advanced scores. As per the IIT Patna cutoff data, CSE is the most competitive specialisation with competitive closing rank and limited seats.

Yes, IIT Patna offers scholarships to students belonging to SC/ ST category and pursuing BTech course. New entrants must not get 'F' grade in any of the courses in first semester. The annual income of student's parents/ guardian and his family from all the sources in preceeding financial year must not be more than INR 4.50 lakh. Selected SC and ST students get free messing, exemption from hostel room rent and pocket allowance of INR 250 per month.
