As a current CSE student, my experience has been decent so far. Companies do visit regularly, but getting a good package depends heavily on coding, projects, internships, aptitude, and communication skills. 

Across all courses, Galgotias University reports a ₹5.4 LPA average package and ₹60 lakh highest package for 2026, with 5,500+ offers from 1,200+ recruiting organizations. 

Galgotias University seems to offer students several ways to explore app development beyond regular coursework. Students can work on mobile-app projects, participate in hackathons and tech activities, and explore technologies such as Swift and Apple's iOS ecosystem.

What I like is that students can use these opportunities to build actual projects for their portfolios instead of limiting their learning to classroom theory. For CSE students who are interested in app development, it can be a good way to experiment, collaborate with peers, and gradually turn ideas into working apps. 

For students interested in app development, experimenting with technologies like Swift and turning classroom concepts into working projects can be a good addition. It shows both technical knowledge and the ability to actually build something useful.

IIT Indore cutoff 2026 for the OBC AI category ranged from 211 to 1353 in the last round.
