No, candidates can also apply through merit or qualifying exam scores such as Class 12 scores provided they complete the course eligibility. Though the university also gives preference to students with JEE Main scores and candidates should appear for the exam and score well for the best chances at gaining admission.

Yes, Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology BTech courses are open for lateral entry in academic year 2026. However, BTech in Electronics & Comm. Engineering and Electronics & Computer Engineering are not available for latral entry at the institute.

St. Joseph's College, West Bengal BA admission is currently not open. But it is going to open soon. According to the website of the college, the admission window will open from May 15, 2026. Interested students must go to the college admission page and apply for the programme.
