If you are interested only in architecture, then waiting for your NATA result is completely fine because it is one of the important criteria for B.Arch admission at Lovely Professional University. From what I know, there is generally no LEET or lateral entry option available for B.Arch at Lovely Professional University, even for students who have completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering. Architecture programs usually follow the full 5-year structure as per professional guidelines, so admission is taken directly into the first year only. Since you already have more than 75% marks in your diploma semesters, your academic background is definitely strong and can help during the admission process. You would still need to fulfill the required eligibility conditions like Mathematics qualification and NATA or JEE Paper 2 score for B.Arch admission. I personally feel your civil engineering background can be an added advantage because you may already have some understanding of construction and design concepts. Overall, if architecture genuinely interests you, LPU can still be a good option through regular admission.
