BKNMU Highlights 2025
Founded in the year 2015, the Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University is a State University established by the Government of Gujarat. Located in Junagadh, BKNMU is a UGC recognised which has also been recognised by the AIU. The jurisdiction of the University includes Junagadh, Porbandar, Gir Somnath and Devbhumi Dwarka districts.
It offers courses on both UG and PG levels across Arts, Science and Commerce streams. BKNMU admissions are primarily merit-based. The university conducts entrance test for admission to B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD programmes.
Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University Dungarpur offers courses under various departments, including Department of English, Commerce and Management, Social Sciences and Social Work, Life Sciences, Chemistry and Forensic Science, among others. The selection for B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD programmes is based on an entrance exam conducted by the university. However, aspirants can be admission to B.Ed or M.Ed programs without an entrance-exam based on their merit in the qualifying exam.
Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University is primarily merit-based. However, the university conducts entrance exams for admission to B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD programmes.
