The central library of NIT Jalandhar remains open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on all working days and from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. NIT Jalandhar also houses a general reading room, adjacent to the library, with Wi-Fi facility and is open from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm on all days. 

The MEET 2025 merit list is prepared based on candidates' scores in the MEd entrance exam. Higher marks improve ranking. The merit list is published by Patna University, and shortlisted candidates are called for counselling to complete the MEd admission process, subject to document verification and eligibility confirmation.

NIT Jalandhar sports facilities include 2 lawn tennis grounds with ample seating arrangements, three volleyball courts with flood lights and 2 basketball courts with seating arrangements and full flood lights. It also included a standard football and cricket grounds with a 400m athletics track and field. The NIT Jalandhar infrastructure also boasts a New students' activity centre equipped with 4 badminton courts and 4  table tennis tables. The new students' activity centre also contains specific rooms for yoga, chess, carrom, etc., for both boys and girls.

Taking admission in the BA LLB (Hons) course at NLU Assam is considered a great option. The university is well-known and reputed for the Law programmes offered. Candidates must appear for the CLAT exam for admission in the university.
