Goa University BE seat matrix is updated annually by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) based on sanctioned intakes and government directives. For e.g., Don Bosco College of Engineering has an approved intake of 60 for Civil and 90 for Computer Engineering. This matrix is a crucial tool during counselling at the DTE Office.

Yes, Goa University has separate quotas for the development of specific BE student groups. These include a 1% reservation for children of ex-servicemen, as well as a 5% reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), subject to a minimum of 1 seat per program. Supernumerary seats, up to 15% of the total number of seats, are also provided for overseas students, including 1 seat per programme earmarked specifically for Kashmiri migrants as per UGC directives.

To ensure fair access, Goa University strictly follows the state government's reservation guidelines for its BE admissions. The current seat distribution includes:
27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
12% for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
10% for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the Un-Reserved Category.
2% for Scheduled Castes (SC).
These percentages apply to both local domicile and All India seats as per the Directorate of Higher Education.

Absolutely. Scoring 85 percentile in CMAT is really good for a PGDM scholarship at GIBS Bangalore. When I got my score, I felt it gave me a solid advantage. The college appreciates students who perform well, and this kind of score can help you get a nice scholarship.

Why it helps:

  • Shows that you've prepared well and have strong aptitude

  • Can make you eligible for scholarship benefits

  • Adds weight to your admission profile

  • Shows your commitment to pursuing management seriously

Honestly, having that score made me feel confident and thankful. It made the whole admission and scholarship process smooth, and I felt really supported by GIBS Bangalore

The mode of application at Assam Don Bosco University is online with students able to apply online through the university admissions portal so long as they complete the course eligibility.
Students must apply after they receive the entrance exam scores that is required for the courses though in the case of merit based admissions students can still apply before they give the final examination so long as they complete the course eligibility within a certain time frame.
