Yes, candidates who have not received their Class 12 board exam results can still apply for BTech at NIT Sikkim. Registration for both JEE Main and JoSAA counselling can be completed before these results are announced.
If during JoSAA counselling, a candidae is unable to submit their final marksheet, they will be offered provisional allotment at NIT Sikkim.

No, candidates cannot apply for NIT Sikkim BTech admission in offline mode. Candidates who want to apply for BTech must register for JEE Mains followed by JoSAA counselling. Registration for both is only possible online through their respective NTA portals.

The scope of BA Social Science at LPU is decent, especially for careers in social research, NGOs, public administration, education, journalism, HR and related fields. LPU also provides opportunities for internships, projects and research exposure. For stronger career growth, pursuing an MA, preparing for competitive exams or developing specialised skills alongside the degree would be beneficial.

I'd choose CSE at LPU over Mechanical at Thapar if your priority is better career flexibility and placement opportunities. CSE gives you access to software, AI, data, cybersecurity and IT roles, while Mechanical is more specialized toward core engineering. Unless you specifically have a strong interest in mechanical engineering, LPU CSE would be the more practical choice.

Among the three, I'd pick LPU overall. It offers a much larger campus ecosystem, wider range of programs, strong infrastructure, internships, industry exposure and plenty of opportunities outside academics. Amity Noida is also a good option, while Poornima is more limited in comparison. If you're looking for the best overall value and opportunities, LPU would be my choice.

I'd choose LPU for B.Tech CSE. If you're getting a similar fee structure at both, LPU gives you a larger campus ecosystem, more exposure, internships, projects and opportunities to build your profile. As for spending four years in Punjab, yes, it can be worth it if you actually use those four years to build skills, projects and a network instead of treating college as just a place to attend classes.

For B.Tech CSE, I'd pick LPU over Galgotias University. LPU offers a larger campus ecosystem, good labs, industry exposure, internships, projects and broader opportunities to build skills beyond the classroom. If your priority is CSE with strong overall exposure and placement opportunities, LPU would be my choice.

LPU's Mechanical Engineering placements are decent, with opportunities in core areas like manufacturing, automobile, production, maintenance and mechanical design. The university also provides internships, industry exposure and placement support. However, branch-wise placement figures for Mechanical Engineering aren't clearly available in the provided source, so I wouldn't quote a specific average package.
