At Lovely Professional University, a wide range of companies come for campus recruitment, especially for CSE. Regular recruiters include Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, TCS, and HCL. These companies hire for roles like software developer, analyst, and IT services.

As for top companies like Google, they are not regular mass recruiters on campus, but students have received opportunities through off-campus drives, coding competitions, or special hiring programs. So while core product companies are fewer compared to service-based ones, the opportunity is still there if your coding level is strong. Overall, the c

Yes, you can get the CSE branch at Lovely Professional University if you meet the basic eligibility criteria. For B.Tech CSE, you mainly need around 60% in 12th with Physics, Maths, and English, so if you satisfy that, getting admission is definitely possible.

Your JEE score is not a strict requirement here, so even with a low percentile, you can still opt for CSE. If you want better chances for scholarships or preferred sections, you can also appear for LPUNEST. Overall, getting CS at LPU is quite achievable if your basics are clear.

From my experience, Lovely Professional University is not a deemed university. It is a private university established by an act of the state legislature (Punjab) and is recognized by UGC, so its degree is valid for jobs, higher studies, and government exams.

As a student, this distinction didn't really affect day-to-day academics or placements. What mattered more was the curriculum, exposure, and how much effort I put into skills and projects. In practical terms, the recognition and opportunities available were sufficient for building a career.

For the CS branch at Lovely Professional University, placements are generally considered decent compared to many private universities. Every year, a wide range of companies visit for recruitment, including Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant, and Wipro. Most students get opportunities in software development, IT services, testing, and analytics roles. The average package usually falls around ₹5–7 LPA, while higher packages are achieved by students with strong coding skills, projects, and internships.

As for whether it's worth it, many students find CSE at LPU a good option because of the exposure, infr

No, students from Lovely Professional University do not automatically lose their jobs after 6 months of probation. The probation period is a standard industry practice followed by most companies, whether you graduate from LPU or any other college.

What actually happens is that during probation, companies evaluate your performance, skills, and work attitude. If a student performs well, they are confirmed as a permanent employee. In rare cases, if someone struggles to meet expectations, a company may extend the probation or let them go; but this is individual performance-based, not something specific to

As a student at Lovely Professional University, my experience was a mix of opportunities and self-effort. The campus is huge and very active, so you're constantly exposed to different things, coding competitions, workshops, guest lectures, and cultural events. In CSE especially, there were plenty of chances to work on projects, participate in hackathons, and improve practical skills beyond just classroom learning.

Academically, it really depends on how serious you are. The faculty is generally supportive, and if you approach them or stay consistent with classes and labs, you can learn a lot. Placements were decent, with many compan

At Lovely Professional University, even though the overall student strength is quite large, classes are divided into smaller sections to manage teaching effectively.

Typically, a lecture class has around 60 students. This system helps maintain interaction with faculty and makes it easier to manage studies despite the large campus size.
