Only candidates who are recognised as sikhs are eligible for Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology BTech seats under minority category. However, candidates of government quota can apply for these seats during BTech admission.
Allottment of these seeats to non sikh candidates is only done if some of them remain vacant after admission process.

- Jammu Domicile Certficate
- Class 10th and Class 12th passing certificate and marksheet
- ID and address proof
- Proof of recognition under Sikh religion (for minority)
