Hello Vaibhav,
Lateral entry is admission directly into 2nd year engineering or 3rd semester. How 4th semester? Normally all colleges allow this type of entry but it is controlled by the DTE of the concerned state.

DAV College, Sector 10 is one of the best colleges in Chandigarh for BA as they give you golden opportunities to prove yourself in academics as well as in co-curricular activities. It leaves MCM college way too far behind.

The university conducts an online examination for the courses offered by different schools of the university. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of the common entrance examination (CET), conducted separately by each school. Once the exam is cleared you need to appear for the counseling process, as per the university guidelines.

B.Sc IT would be a more suitable option for you.
Eligibility
Graduation and a bachelors degree obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.

Sorry to say but with a distance education degree, it will be quite tough for you to apply for any government job in a school because basic the eligibility for maximum posts demand regular degrees.
