Hostel has both Boys Hostel with 387 Rooms and Girls Hostel with 141 Rooms. D.A.V College Jalandhar has five hostels, three for boys and two for girls. All hostel have modern facilities like geysers, water coolers, 24 hour power back up, RO filtered drinking water, well-equipped health care centre for medical emergency services. D.A.V College Jalandhar library consist more the two lakhs text and reference books,93 periodicals of National and International repute and 24 Newspapers. Also has Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility to save the access time of the users. In addition, it has membership of DELNET which provide students with the access to Union Catalogue of Books, Union List of Current Periodicals, Database of Periodical Articles, CD-ROM Database, Medical Journals, Engineering and Technology E-Journals etc.
