Kashmir University average package data is not released. As per the NIRF report 2025, UG 3-year and PG 2-year median package recorded in 2025 was INR 10 LPA. UG 5-year and PG 5-year median package stood at INR 7 LPA.

The All India National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) has awarded the university an A grade for its academic excellence.
Even after the excellent faculty and placements, the university is still not considered a Tier 1 institute in India.

University of Kashmir, South Campus, is very renowned and famous for its higher education. The college has very good placement. The package starts from INR 2 lakhs.
