NIT Srinagar is yet to announce the PhD course fees for the academic year 2026. In the previous year, the course fees stood INR 1.54 Lacs for the general category students of NIT Srinagar PhD.

For candidates in the SC, ST, PwD categories, the PhD course fees at NIT Srinagar stoodat INR 94,900.

The national level NIT Srinagar entrance exam for PhD admissions has not been scheduled for the academic year 2026. Usually, the aforementioned entrance exam is scheduled near the end of July each year.

The results for the same are announced in the month of August.

No, the 2026 admissions for NIT Srinagar PhD are yet to be opened. The institute schedules the application window for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions between the months of June and July.

The results of the NIT Srinagar PhD admission process are revealed during the month of August and September.

No, candidates who wish to apply for admissions to the NIT Srinagar PhD course are not required to cleared a ME or M.Tech course to be eligible. Candidates who have appeared for a MSc course in the relevant stream can also apply for PhD admissions. However, such candidates must appear for the GATE or UGC NET before applying for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions.

No, UGC NET is not a mandatory entrance exam for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions. Candidates can also appear in the GATE as well to qualify for admissions to the NIT Srinagar PhD course.

However, candidates who are applying through a ME/MTech score are required to appear for the national level NIT Srinagar entrance exam instead of the aforementioned exams.

MBSCET offers one course at UG level. The college offers BTech programme. Students who meet the eligibility and selection requirement can get admission in BTech. The students who have passed Class 12 with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board are eligible to apply.

The candidate can get the application form online as well as offline, the student can download online application form from MBSCET portal. Candidates can fill the form and submit. After filling and duly signing the form mail the MBSCET application form and required documents along with the registration amount.

No, the student cannot directly apply on the website. First, the candidate has to download the application form of MBSCET from the portal. After that the student can fill the form and submit all the required documents on the college mail address with application amount.

The steps for submitting MBSCET application form are:

  • Download the application form the official website of the college.
  • Fill and Duly Sign the application form with Transaction Number of payment of INR 1200/- mention at the bottom (with date of transaction).
  • 3.Submit all the required documents with application amount at thier official mail- id (admissionmbscet2020).
