The Cultural event in this University is like a daily job. At least three to four cultural evenings are held each month. Every Jayanti and the birthdays of well-known personalities are celebrated here through cultural events. You will have a good time enjoying your time here.

Throughout the year, there are several gatherings, seminars, workshops, hackathons, and meetings. It also organizes its renowned tech festival, Titiksha. Thousands of youngsters are taking part in this amazing event. Many more tech events occurs in collaboration with nearby colleges, specially with IIT Jammu.

If someone is unable to take the internal exam for some reason, they may retake it with the HoD's approval and a good excuse. The justification must be convincing and supported by evidence. so yes you can take the retest at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.

The university uses a strict grading system. Instead of using a relative scale, the CGPA is calculated on an absolute basis. IITs and NITs use a relative grading system. The internet can teach you how to compute CGPA.
You have to maintain your SGPA to have a good CGPA score

The food is typical and occasionally quite bad. The mess committees are extremely irresponsible and idle. The girls' hostel mess, the Central mess, and the Vindhyachal hostel mess provide the best among all the University's mess. The mess in the Basohli hostel is the worst.

If a student fails their internal exams, at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University they must register for that course at the university and pay a cost of Rs. 1000 and reappear for that exam in order to pass that exam subject the following semester.

No, You Can not get direct admission to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University there is no procedure of direct admission in this University. It is a prestigious University with a strong curriculum and has a nice ranking. It only admits students from JoSAA CSAB and CUET.
