The University has released combined placement statistics for PG (2-year) courses in the NIRF report 2024. Out of 1,914 PG (2-year) graduates, 881 were placed successfully during Kerala University placements 2023. This makes the placement rate 46%. Earlier, 685 PG (2-year) students were placed during 2022 placements and the placement rate stood at 50%. The table below depicts the University of Kerala placement trends for PG (2-year) courses:

A fluctuating trend was observed in the number of PG (1-year) students placed over the past three years. The number of students placed in PG (1-year) courses dropped from 2021 to 2022 and then increased from 2022 to 2023. On the contrary, the number of PG (2-year) students placed over the past three years improved year-on-year. Yes, the institute offer admission under the Management quota. 50% of the seats are thus filled for MBA courses directly under this quota. Selection is done on the basis of merit.

The total number of seats available for the Management course is 120. This seat intake is as per unofficial sources. Hence, the actual count may vary. Also, 50% of the total seat intake is reserved for admission under the Management quota.

Candidates need to complete Part III for BA, BSc & BCom with at least 50% aggregate and 50% aggregate marks (for all semesters/all parts) for all other graduation programmes to apply for TKM Institute of Management MBA programme. University of Kerala norms applies in the case of OBC & SC/ST candidates. One must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

Candidates with a valid bachelor's degree of a minimum three years duration in the field of Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management or equivalent from any recognised university are eligible to apply. In addition, the aspirants who are appearing for the final year of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply.

Yes, KMAT is one of the entrance exams accepted for MBA admission at TKM Institute of Management. However, it is not mandatory. Aspirants with a valid score in CAT or CMAT can also get admission provided they also fulfil the eligibility requirements. Selected candidates are further required to pass GDPI for admission.
