The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT Kolkata) is a government institute under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India. It is one of the oldest 35 NIELIT centres in India. This institute was registered in 1976 as a Scientific Society (Autonomous Body) by the Central and West Bengal Governments.
