The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT Kolkata) is a government institute under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India. It is one of the oldest 35 NIELIT centres in India. This institute was registered in 1976 as a Scientific Society (Autonomous Body) by the Central and West Bengal Governments.
Currently, the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology offers a comprehensive range of courses across the Electronics and Communications Technology (IECT) domain. NIELIT Kolkata Scholarships 2025
As per Protsahan Puraskar Scheme offered by this college, SC/ST, Physically Handicapped and Female Students are eligible for scholarships. These students qualify for fee waive off post clearing papers in the first attempt. Additionally, they have to submit certain proofs that include:
