You should not prefer distance education for technical education rather go for regular mode because you'll learn many things in the class room. You'll get industrial exposure and practical knowledge which will be helpful in getting a good job. So, better go for regular education. I am enlisting a few good colleges for B.Tech ECE: IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, DTU, IIT Varanasi, IIT Dhanbad, NIT Surathkal, NIT Tiruchirappalli, Jadavpur University, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab, IIIT Allahabad, NIT Calicut, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai, Delhi Technological Un

Hey there,
Did you get a rank displayed as per the result for your paper 2?
The cut-off given was that for those who qualified to write JEE Advance. Rank will be given even if you qualify or not.
According to me, 220 in paper 2 is good and you will get admission in nits. Only that you can apply for architecture branch. For other branches they consider the paper 1 rank. If you apply for architecture the rank of paper 2 will be considered.
For more information, kindly google the previous year's opening and closing rank of various NITs.
All the best.
