Hi Rohitashav,
The mess facilities are decent enough. We have a student run mess committee who function very efficiently considering the needs of all the peers and making continuous improvements. Charges for the mess facility and hostel would be approximately 1,64,700rs. for 2 years. All thebest

HR is the flagship program and many opt for HR in XIME. As for BIMTECH i have no much idea, but finance here at XIME does well being the second best stream placement package wise behind marketing.

The placemennts for finance are good with recruiters like SBI,KPMG,EY and HDFC being regular recruiters. The avg package is around 7.5-8. This year the finance students did well and were second best placement wise, behind marketing.
The tour is compulsary and has a duration of 14 days. It is worth it as you get to know the cross culture differences and it also includes industry visits as well.

Entrance exam scores are to set up eligibilty. They dont have much weightage as compared to GD-PI rounds, when it comes to selection. Also your acads and extra curriculars will matter. Also if you have work ex than it will matter too.
As for placements, college does handle the charges, but in some cases you might have to take care of charges yourself.

Very high entrance scores will always attract eyes, but it isnt always the case. The brighest student might not get high marks in exams. The entrance exam scores only are for establishing the eligibility criteria. The final selection will be based on GD-PI and the past acads record. As for the second part of the question, it might be true but again i have no much idea about it. CAT is considered the tougher exam among the 2, but each exam has its own way of evaluation. Good luck.
