Yes, Class 12 percentage matters for admission into MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College. A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Class 12 PCB stream has to be scored for the candidate to be eligible for admission into the same. The student must also check the selection criteria of MBBS at MAMC.

The eligibility criteria for each programme at Maulana Azad Medical College remains the same across all student categories. The eligibility criteria does not depends on the student category.

The candidate must have passed Class 12 with PCB stream scoring atleast 60% of aggregate marks to be eligible for applying for MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College. The selection criteria is merit based with the college accepting NEET UG scores for MBBS admissions. Hence, the candidate must attempt and qualify NEET UG after Class 12.

Maulana Azad Medical College does not conducts an entrance exam for admission into MBBS and MDS courses. The admission for both programmes is merit based with the college accepting NEET UG and NEET PG/MDS scores for the same.

According to the official portal, MAMC does follow a seat reservation policy in accordance with Delhi University guidelines. While seat reservation details for PG programmes are unavailable, Maulana Azad Medical College reserves seats in UG programme in the following way:

·      15% of total seats are filled in through the entrance examination conducted by the C.B.S.E. on All India basis.

·      85% of total seats are filled in through the Delhi University Norms.

·      6 seats are reserved for Government of India nominees.
