In case a student misses an internal examination due to certain circumstances, all they have to do is report the issue to the respective dean. Once they have approved that your reasoning is genuine, then you can request them to make some arrangements for you to be able to give the exams or else you can also request them to give an alternate assessment to compensate for the missed exam.

If a student fails internal exams at GIET University, they are given an opportunity to reappear for the examinations. They will be given another shot for to write the exam for the same subject. The college will conduct a supplementary test for the failed internal exam, giving the student another chance to secure passing marks in that particular subject.

# Explore the sports side of the university as much as possible and the faster you join a club, the better. # Always keep your attendance percentage over 90% as 80% is their least requirement. # Don't miss the morning breakfast. (It really upsets your stomach! Trust me I have been there. )
# Buy yourself a laptop. You will need it. # Take care of your hygiene. Make it a first priority. # Schedule your classes and try not to miss any. # Make good connections with your class teacher and proctor even after they are no longer your class teacher/proctor.

Formal uniform is the dress code at GIET University. Cloth material is provided during admission and the student is required to make a uniform out of it according to his/her fit. Uniforms are a must because the university focuses a lot on discipline and professionalism on the job which is why students are trained to look professional from the beginning itself. College life at GIET University is very enjoyable, entertaining, and educating as well. Teachers, Coaches, and Medical staff are constantly at work to provide their best services to the students. Friendly and extremely cooperating seniors are also a huge help. The sports facilities are also very nice. To pursue MBA at GIET University, Gunupur, one needs to have:
- A passed Bachelor's degree of a minimum 3 years duration
- Obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying Examination (45% marks only in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)
- Rank obtained in GIETEE/CMAT/MAT/ CAT/XAT/OJEE shall be considered as well. - 50% of seats are already reserved for OJEE counseling and the rest 50% are filled through GIETEE Exam.
