RTU Highlights 2023

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is a public university located in the Kota district of Rajasthan and came into existence in 2006. The University is established on the campus of the University College of Engineering, Kota. It is approved by AICTE and is also recognised by UGC. At present, the University affiliates about 72 BTech colleges, 03 BArch, 17 MCA colleges, 38 MBA colleges, 31 MTech colleges, 01 March, and 01 Hotel Management & Catering institute. RTU offers a wide range of UG, PG, and doctoral courses at its department as well as affiliated colleges, namely BTech, BArch, BHMCT, MTech, MArch, MBA, MCA, and PhD. RTU has 11 departments/ centers that offer BTech, MTech, MBA, and PhD in numerous specialisations in its own campus.

RTU runs web portals that carry forward the Centralised Admission Process for each programme. The University provides campus placement opportunities to its students. Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: 70–85% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package was INR 29 lacs per annum. The average package was INR 7 lacs per annum and the lowest package was INR 5 lacs per annum. Some of the top recruiting companies for my course were JP Morgan, Deloitte and more.

Infrastructure: My college hosts a good ambience. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and libraries are all present. The college has also got on-campus hostel students outside of Jaipur. The quality of food in the college canteen and hostel mess is hygienic and it tastes good.

Faculty: Teachers at my college are knowledgeable and hold Ph.D.s in their subjects. The college also organized some guest lectures from time to time in which renowned personalities were invited to share their experiences with us. All this helped a lot in gaining practical knowledge.

Very good faculty and placements.

Placements: Undoubtedly, ISIM offers the best placement rate in the whole city. The whole of my batch had wonderful placement opportunities. The average package was INR 8 lakh per year. The highest salary for the batch was INR 32 lacs per year. Recruitment was done in companies like KPMG, Accenture, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is world-class. Classrooms are equipped with the latest audio-visual devices, and the library has a good collection of books. More labs have recently been added to the infrastructure to make students well versed in IT and analytics.

Faculty: The faculty is very well read. They are highly knowledgeable and have high qualifications in their subject matter. They not only teach from books but also refer to various readings by global authors and use numerous illustrations and global case studies while teaching.

My engineering college review.

Placements: 55% of students got placement in this college, and only 40% got internships in this college in B.Tech. Students who got placement got only INR 5 to 6 LPA packages. Many companies visit this college to offer placements, but almost 90% of the companies have sales backgrounds.

Infrastructure: The infras of our college is very nice. On the same campus, you will find all of the buildings for various courses. The college campus is nearly 15 acres. The quality of food in the mess is average, not so much better. Hostels are fair enough. You will find all the facilities in our hostels.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-behaved by nature. They are polite and they are very supportive of each and every student in the classroom. They mostly took their classes on smart boards for better interaction. The course is strictly based on the latest syllabus. Semester exams are hard to clear. Students need to do more hard work to clear papers.

Other: I opted for B.Tech. and its branch on the suggestion of my old friends.

Good infrastructure and average placement.

Placements: In my course, placement is better than average. The highest salary in 2023 is INR 10 LPA, and the lowest salary is INR 2.5 LPA. In Udaipur, the top recruiting companies for electronic engineers are Secure Meter, Pyrotechnic and Timesens. My 69 percent of students get internships with Udaipur local companies. The top role offered at the beginner level is engineer trainee.

Infrastructure: In college, labs have fully advanced instruments and computers. All software that is used by electronic students is available on all computers. The hostel has moderate facilities (bed, cooler, etc.). Rooms are bigger and food is better than average. Sports and games are available.

Faculty: In my department, all faculty members have masters in their respective fields. All have helping nature and are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is above average for the overall department. The course curriculum is good, and departments organize their own activities to encourage students. The semester exam is quite difficult but not more.

Other: I chose electronic and communication engineering because, according to me, in 2030, the electronic industry will have a higher value than other industries. One thing that can be added to the course is that the curriculum can be updated to reflect current technology. For students, the college provide a lot of scholarships.

This college is the best college ever.

Placements: 100 percent of students will be placed, and many companies will visit our college. The minimum package is INR 9 lacs and the highest will be INR 51 lacs. This was a good experience for every student who is in JECRC College, and many are visiting every year, including good students from our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very nice and beautiful and their architecture was very nice. Five blocks are built here; every department has its own department and all branches have their own department.

Faculty: All teachers are very decent in nature and are graduates of the best Ph.D. colleges; all are highly educated; every teacher has written their own book; and all have the best method to teach. So all students understand clearly, and semester exams are held every six months.

As per the University Department website of RTU, more than 400 students get scholarships under various government schemes every year and close to 200 students get financial assistance from numerous NGOs and organisations.
