Securing 75% in Class 12 is the minimum eligibility criteria that IIITM Gwalior requires for admissions to BTech courses. This does not specify that candidates with 75% scores can get admission to BTech courses because applicants must meet several eligibility conditions. One of the most crucial requirements for potential applicants is a legitimate JEE Main score. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers this exam, a fiercely competitive national-level test, to gauge applicants' ability and expertise.

According to the ranking given by NIRF 2024 for the Engineering category in IIIT Bangalore and IIITM Gwalior, they vary from each other.
