Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. IIITM Gwalior offers a two-year M.Tech course at the postgraduate level. IIITM Gwalior admission to the MTech course usually starts in the month of March-April after the GATE exam result declaration. The final selection is based on the GATE scores followed by CCMT counselling. The centralised CCMT counselling process for offering admission to M.Tech is done through online mode. Selected candidates have to further report at the institute to complete formalities for admission confirmation.

The tuition fee for a two-year M.Tech ranges from NR 2.4 Lacs to INR 7.9 lakh. Apart from this, the total fee includes components such as hotel fee (if applicable), caution deposit, and other amounts to be paid at the time of admission. The eligibility criteria to get admission into MTech courses at IIITM Gwalior is candidares must have completed their BTech degree or equivalent with a minimum aggregate 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale) for Gen/ EWS/ OBC-NCL whereas 55% marks (or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ ST/ PwD. Furthermore, GATE and CCMT are the entrance exam and counselling process that are accepted for admission to IIITM Gwalior M.Tech courses.
