Our teachers are soo good and helpful for us. They help us a lot with studies and they are very understanding. Teachers are friendly and understanding. They take the class very nicely and in an understanding manner. They motivate the students in a very good manner.

As such there is no compulsion regarding the hostel facility. It's upto the students themselves whether they want to avail the hostel facility or not. But in my opinion one should stay in hostel only as PGs in that area are not that much good. Also the mess is very decent and provide good quality food.

The hostel are on campus and in close proximity to the college and hospital. The hostel fees at K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore are approximately INR 97,000 per annum for both boys and girls. The hostel fees may include caution deposit, mess advance, and room rent. The hostels are located near the college campus and the rooms are well-furnished with a cupboard, study table, and other basic amenities.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 with 50% marks and studied in Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology / Biotechnology as the subjects are eligible to apply for the MBBS course.
MBBS seats will be allotted on the basis of NEET scores.
Candidates who have completed 10+2 with 40% marks and studied in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for the B.Sc. courses.
B.Sc. seats will be allotted on the basis of merit in the qualifying 10+2 examination.

Yenepoya (Deemed to be university) will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The NEET score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course
