Review of NIT Surathkal College.

Placements: Roughly 85 percent of students got placed, with about 6% opted for masters programs. The highest salary package reached 64 LPA, while the lowest was 6 LPA. Big names like Amazon, AWS, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm, Nvidia, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley were all on the list of recruiters.

Infrastructure: Now, our course definitely benefits from some great facilities and infrastructure. The campus had a central library, Wi-Fi access, and digital classrooms, which was nice. The hostel accommodation was quite good, and the meals were pretty tasty, whether you were eating at the mess or the canteen. Don't forget the multi-sports complex!

Faculty: Most of the teachers here had solid experience and good qualifications. The ones who got the most support, definitely the students aiming for job placements. The subjects were mostly entered around the financial sector, especially in areas like accounting and auditing. Overall, the staff seems pretty capable and tends to achieve great results.

Really good infrastructure with excellent sports facilities.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed. The average package is 19 LPA while the highest is 52 LPA. For my course ECE, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments are major recruiters. Hardware engineer and analyst roles are offered. I am not very aware of the internships and all but placement wise it is good.

Infrastructure: We cannot use Wi-Fi in our hostel but we have LAN facility in our rooms. Hostel facilities are good while mess food is not that good. Sports facilities are amazing, especially cricket. We have cricket kit, nets, etc. There is a health care center within the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and they teach well. Semester exams can be cleared by studying a night before the exam. As far as I heard from the seniors, the course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Teachers are friendly and they are keen to share their knowledge.

Other: I heard from a lot of people that NITK is one of the top institutes, and ECE branch at NITK has good demand. Events will depend on the people you have selected in the student council selection. Government gives scholarships to people whose income is below 1 lakh.

Placements: Hello everyone this is Sivakumar I am representing graduation from National institute of technology Karnataka Suratkal Coming to the percentage of students placed in our course is 96.42percentage last year. The highest package offered was 54.75 Lacs per annum and the average package was 15lpa Top recruiting companies were Samsung and tata communications Percentage of students got internship varies from 60-70 percentage and in companies like qualcomm and Bharat electronics Top roles ordered in communication and VLSI .

Infrastructure: Campus with 280 acres in land having different types of facilities and infrastructures available we the students have two different libraries One is central library and other is e library and every where in the college we have Wi-Fi and eduoram connection with fast internet Quality of the food is good but taste is medium in the mess We have health care centre available from morning 9 am to 10pm in case of duty doctors Coming to sports we have large grounds and we have different types of sports played here and seperate courts for all sports .

Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and highly qualified too. You can expect top-level teaching from them. They are highly knowledgeable too. The teaching quality is good but always depends on students' mentality. The course curriculum is relevant and we are always ready for exams. We have classes and clubs. Semester examinations are not so tough and not so easy. They are at a liberal stage. If we listen to classes and study before exams, we can easily score good marks. The pass percentage for all the subjects is 20-30%.

Other: My aim is to serve civics so I took ECE as my optional. The best things to learn are VLSI and semiconductor devices. Everything is better now with good fests and friendly campus surroundings.

A look into NITK - great place to study and have fun.

Placements: Around 85% of the students were placed, with around 6% going for Masters. The highest package was 64 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. Top companies that recruit are Amazon, AWS, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm, Nvidia, DeShaw, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels are separate for boys and girls. Girls hostel has newer blocks and is very good. A little bit of an issue with Wi-Fi and internet at times, but usually it's good. The college has a reading room, gym, basketball court, and a lot of open space to walk around.

Faculty: As ECE is not present in top IITs, the best professors specialising in this field come to NITK. The course curriculum is very good, and the labs are very helpful. Teachers are friendly and provide good projects and guidance. Teaching is also very helpful for core ECE placements.

Other: This is the only university campus with a private each, and the each is very clean and well maintained. Lighthouse is also there. We have 2 huge fests every year—one cultural and one technical. Apart from that, we have multiple events throughout the year, almost every week. Amazing place to study and have fun.

Overall, our college provides a conducive environment for professional development.

Placements: About 98 percent of the students got placed from our course, with average salaries ranging from 8 LPA to 34 LPA. Big companies like Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Qualcolmm, ARM, and Samsung Semiconductor India to name a few are the top recruiting companies for our course. About 30 percent including M. Teach studnets secured internship in these companies. Most of them were hire as Hardware or Digital Design Engineers.

Infrastructure: Our department benefits from robust LAN supplies and excellent labs. Although the classrooms are obsolete, they are sufficient to accommodate a batch. There are two libraries on the campus. The hostels are somewhat old in structure, and all the hostels have their own night canteens. There is a Central Health Care Centre on the campus for anytime emergencies, equipped with an ambulance. We have a large playground on our campus and inter NIT championship are held each year.

Faculty: Some teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Talking of myself, I personally faced a lot of difficulties because the teaching pedagogy is not good here. The course curriculum was indeed relevant for the hiring companies. The focus area in the college is more on theory for some faculty members, but some emphasis the implementation of the theory.

NIT Surathkal, a lost review.

Placements: In our course, on average, nearly 90% of the students get placed every year. In this academic year, the highest package was 54 LPA and the lowest was around 8 LPA. Many MNCs come to the campus to recruit students; some of them are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, Ola, etc. All of the students might not get on-campus internships, but around 80% of the students do.

Infrastructure: The ECE Department has well-equipped labs with modern electronic equipment and Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms with projectors and blackboards. There's also a central library with a vast collection and a dedicated ECE section. Hostel life features some clean and basic hostels with laundry facilities and a common room. There's a healthcare center with qualified medical staff, sports facilities, and a swimming pool.

Faculty: The professors at NITK are highly qualified. Many have PhDs in their respective fields. The course curriculum is constantly reviewed and updated to stay relevant to the latest advancements in the field of ECE. The exams will be challenging, and the minimum pass percentage will be 20%, but it varies with the respective proof.

Review of National Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements of ECE branch in National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal are very good. The highest package for the last academic year was 54 LPA. The average package was around 20 LPA. Almost 50%+ students got into internships from the department.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department is not that good, though the department building is spacious. The classrooms are well-furnished, and the Wi-Fi connection is also very good in the department. The mess food is okay but not that good in taste and hygiene.

Faculty: The faculty members of ECE department are very good. They have good experience in teaching. The course curriculum is relevant, but very fewer students want to go for core sector placements. They seek a job in the software field. The semester exams are not that tough if one studies regularly.

Placements: The placements in the Electronics and Communication Branch at NITK were good for the academic year 2023-2024. The highest package was 54 LPAs. The average package was around 20 LPA. The roles offered to ECE graduates are associate engineer, networking engineer, technical engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The boys hostels are separately situated from the girls hostels. All the hostels are equipped with all the basic facilities. There is a good wi-fi connection in each and every hostel, along with an Ethernet socket in each room. The mess food is average and you will definitely get bored after 2 or 3 years.
