IIM Shillong's admissions procedure is highly competitive, with the total cutoff changing each year based on criteria such as candidate pool quality and seat availability. For the 2024-2026 batch, the institute has established minimum percentile standards for each category. General category candidates must achieve a minimum overall percentile of 75, with sectional cutoffs of 75 in VARC, 70 in DILR, and 70 in QA. NC-OBC candidates must meet an overall cutoff of 70, with sectional cutoffs of 60 in VARC, 60 in DILR, and 65 in QA. SC candidates must achieve an overall percentile of 60, with sectoral cutoffs of 50 in VARC, 50 in DILR, and 55 in QA. 

Here's some information about the cutoff for M.A. in Sociology at North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong:

"To be eligible for admission to NEHU Shillong's M.A. in Sociology, you need to have at least 50% marks in your Bachelor's Degree or Masters' Degree in Science/ social sciences humanities, commerce."

The university accepts the Central University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) as the entrance exam for admission to postgraduate programs. 
The university reserves and relaxes admission for SC/ST/OBC/PwD and other categories as per its rules.

The NIT Meghalaya M.Tech course admission is subject to the fulfilment of eligibility and selection criteria. As per official sources, to be eligible, candidates must have passed a BE/BTech degree in a relevant discipline with a 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% aggregate for Gen/Gen-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates. 

Further, they must also have appeared for the GATE exam and participate in the CCMT counselling process. Those who do not have a valid GATE score or have not been able to get a seat via CCMT can participate in the institute-level selection process. In this process, students are evaluated based on the institute-level entrance test and PI round. At last, the selected candidates must make the payment of the NIT Meghalaya M.Tech fee to secure admission.
