Actually, Media & Culture is not some corporate course where you can judge placements. If you want, you can sit for central placements but most of the students I have met from media and culture do not care about placements. It is a very different kind of field where only those people who are really passionate about it should go.

Actually in TISS, its very difficult to get hostel in the first year. It is only given to differently abled and category students with low family income. So, yes, you can avail hostel at your own choice and there is no compulsion for that. Therefore, you can go for day scholars option.

Classes are largely between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. However, the class timings might extend as there are a lot of guest lectures, seminars and events that are organized by various committees.

Yes, you can apply for MHA-MBA /MMS CET. Based on your score, you will be able to apply for All India Seats.
For JBIMS, cutoff for All India Seats is usually 99.99%ile. So you need score extremely well in CET.

NATA cut-off to qualify for admission into a college under the NATA scheme of examinations was 131 marks in 2017, and 145 in the year 2016. Yes, there is a provision for students with disability, however to claim this provision, candidates are required to furnish a valid PwD certificate from a medical practitioner.
