According to the website, it is affiliated to Mysore University but I would suggest you go to campus and inquire about it. Ask for some proof, they will definitely show you the documents.

Dear Pavithra,
I have seen in many universities that they don't accept the candidates from KSOU whether for job or for higher studies. So, firstly opt for some other university. Secondly, for a technical course opt for regular mode instead of a distance/ correspondence mode.
There are many good universities offering MCA. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like Manipal, Lovely, Kurukshetra, Himachal, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements. Some even offer good scholarships.
Good luck.

Yes, there is an entrance exam. The fee remains the same for every student, so in case you have any doubts kindly get it checked with the college itself.

I would recommend you to go for Engineering. If you want to apply for distance education, this will be hectic in future. As compared to distance B.Com I will ask to go for Engineering. Engineering platform always provide you a huge opportunity and opens a market of job for you. Whereas, if you go for distance education you will have to struggle a lot.
