Aspirants wishing to apply online need to fill out the application form on the official website of Karnataka Examination Authority or KEA. Candidates can also obtain the application form from the campus in-person. Aspirants have to pay a fee to apply for a course at SJCE Mysore.

No, admissions to any course at Yuvarajas College, University of Mysore are not open currently. The college offers various courses in the fields of Engineering, Management, Computer Science, and Science. Admission to the MBA course is done based on the scores obtained in the Karnataka PGCET and KCET exams and the applications for these exams generally open in the months of April or May. Admission to all the other courses is done based on the scores obtained in the previous qualification and applications for admission to this course generally open in July.

Students say that the food served in the hostel mess of Yuvarajas College, University of Mysore is generally well accepted as being of good quality and mostly they said that the nutritional value of meals is good and not monotonous. The mess serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with an emphasis on local foods and a good diet. There is positive feedback on the issue of cleanliness of the dining area, the students love hot water and snacks.
