SIT is a recognised engineering college in Karnataka and it admits students from different parts of the country and the world. The admission process for NRI students is slightly different from that of Indian students. NRI students can apply for admission to SIT through the NRI quota. The eligibility criteria and admission process for NRI students are generally the same as for Indian students, except for the requirement of NRI status proof. NRI students are required to produce the necessary documents, such as their passport, visa, and other relevant documents, to prove their NRI status. It is important to note that the number of seats available under the NRI quota is limited, and the admission process is competitive. Therefore, NRI students are advised to apply early and ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and submit all the necessary documents within the stipulated time frame. Overall, SIT welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and provides opportunities for all students, including NRI students, to pursue their academic and career goals.
