Yes, there are many students from other countries studying at Utrecht University. According to the university's website, every year thousands of international students come to Utrecht to participate in English-language academic programs, exchange programs, and the largest summer school in Europe. In addition, Utrecht University has signed the Dutch Code of Conduct concerning international students, which guarantees proper recruitment, selection, and coaching of international students. As of 2024, there are about 2000 international degree students and approximately 1200 exchange students studying at Utrecht University.

Yes, average Indian student can join Utrecht University. University has specific entry requirements for Indian applicants including a min percentage requirement for Grade 12, course specific requirements and English proficiency. For example Indian applicants who have completed Grade 12 with 80% (best of five) can apply for UG courses at Utrecht Uni. Additionally university requires a mini percentage of 75 for admission.
