Erasmus University Rotterdam does require English language proficiency for International applicants with a minimum score. While Erasmus University Rotterdam accepts the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), they also accept other English language proficiency tests. In addition to IELTS, Erasmus accepts other English proficiency tests such as CAE ( Cambridge English exams), and TOFEL. The following table gives more details with the minimum score required from the tests;

The University of Amsterdam MSc in Data Science and Business Analytics admission requirements:

  • The applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Econometrics or a closely related discipline
  • Also, the applicants are required to have proven knowledge of all the following topics at an advanced level: Linear Algebra, Probability and Mathematical Statistics, Calculus / Analysis

MBA admission requirements for Amsterdam University are given below:

  • The applicants are required to have a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD) from a recognised research university
  • At least 3 years of postgraduate full-time work experience
  • GMAT / GRE score. Minimum GMAT score is 600

Groningen University and Vrije University Amsterdam are renowned institutions offering unique and various campus cultures and a good universities to study AI course at . However, if we compare both, the graph is little higher for University of Amsterdam. As it's more famous than  Groningen University.

Some of the tips for students starting their first-semester at the University of Groningen are:

  • Students who applied for  University of Groningen must be humble and should interact with as many people as possible. Mainly beacause, the more people you talk to the better knowledge you get. 

  • Attend as many gathering and parties as much as you can. 

  • Applicants should avoid missing classess, as 70% of learning comes from students going to classes. 

  • Students can get invovlved with extracuricular activities, i.e joing university clubs, sports etc. This will also look good on a portfolio in the longer run.

This totally depends on the individual and the university that they applied and got into. For example, if an applicant received an acceptance offer from the Ivy league universities than offcourse the applicant should choose to go for those universities than going to University of Groningen. However if the applicant gets an acceptance from a tier three or two university then we suggest them to look for better options and can surely choose University of Groningen. However, the University of Groningen is a good option as well as it is at 139 position in 2024 by QS.
