If you are talking about B.Arch, congrats you are not eligible to take admission in any of the NITs as there are only 9 NITs offering B.Arch programme which constitute around 600 seats. Student with 9k rank cannot even think about it. If it's JEE Mains Paper 1, then congrats you can easily get admission in any of the NITs with that rank.

For this you need a good college but they also need 50-60% in 12th but there is a option you can go for any course like B.Sc, BCA, B.Tech etc and just focus on one programming language, by focusing you can get an opportunity. Google, Facebook and some other companies provide online programming competition, you can also go fo this.
