There are not enough valid reasons to choose UCIC over Massey University.

As the UCIC is foundation studies and pathways oriented college while the Massey University have a variety of programs with more specialization.

The chances of getting a reasearch opportunity at UCIC are unlikely to happen, while the Massey University offers really good Research opportunities.

Yes UCIC is cheaper than UW because the UCIC offers programs that are related to foundation studies and pathways for University which are not a full degree programs so these programs are less expensive

On the hand the University of Waikato offers full degree course programs which are expensive enough.
