Hello Avinash,
Thapar University is among top private colleges in India, so you need to score quite high in JEE Mains to get CSE there. Any score more than 160 marks is considered safe for admission.

After a law course from an NLU such as RGNUL-Patiala, you have ample placement opportunities.
The NLU itself calls number of law firms in campus and after an interview and selection process based on your CV, jobs are offered to top ranks holders.
Also, various legal associates and lawyers offer jobs at their offices to law students there.
You may also get clerkships from supreme courts after college as well.
Various corporate offices do offer jobs as legal officer and consultants for their legal teams.
You may also opt for PSU through CLAT PG, after LLb and earn a handsome salary and government employee status.

VIT is better followed by Manipal and then Thapar. Since this college has the best of placement, infrastructure, education, opportunities and exposure to the real world. Though VIT and Manipal are almost the same in all the above terms and these two are better than Thapar.
