Lateral admission directly in the 2nd year of engineering is available to students of the state who have completed Diploma from that state. However, you need to visit the webpage of DTE of Tech. Edu of your state to know the eligibility.

Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering is an Autonomous college affiliated to VTU. Whereas, Dayanand Sagar University is Non-autonomous.

MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is one of the best and prestigious institutions in India.
