NIT Sikkim does not offer direct admissions for any of its courses. Admission are purely entrance based followed by counselling process for seat allocations. Admission to the BTech and MTech programmes are based on scores in JEE Main and GATE respectively. For NIT Sikkim MSc admission, students have to clear IIT JAM and register for CCMN counselling. Similar to these UG and PG courses, PhD admission at NIT Sikkim is also entrance and interview-based.

With 400 marks in NCHMCT JEE, admission in IHM Bodhgaya for BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration will be difficult. The closing rank for the General category in 2023 was approximately 6,987 which suggests that a score of 400 might not be sufficient to secure a seat as it falls below the typical cutoff range.
