Yes, if you scored in the 75 percentile on the JEE Mains exam, you are eligible to apply to Maharaja Agrasen University's B Tech programme. Maharaja Agrasen University, Solan offers a 4-year undergraduate BE or BTech programme. In order to be considered for admission to Maharaja Agrasen University for BE/BTech, the candidate must meet the institution's minimal eligibility requirements and have a valid JEE Main score or WBJEE exam score. Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering are the five specialisations under which the B Tech programme is offered in the university.

Placements: About 70% of the students in MBA got the placements, during my session the highest package offered is 7.5 lacs by Jaro education and an average package ranging from 2 lacs to 5 lacs normally. For the placements, different companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Tommy Hilfiger, Tata, HP have visited so far. In my course the percent of internships is very low, just 10% of students got internships from the companies, and companies mainly recruit for the junior posts only.

According to the media reports, a total of 515 offers were received from 174 companies during placements 2023. The the highest package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 32.5 LPA. Further,  4 BTech students were offered a package of INR 17 LPA by Zscaler while 28 students were offered a package of INR 5 LPA by Bebo Technology. The top recruiters of Rayat Bahra University during placements 2023 were Hitachi, Sun Pharma, Cloud Thing, The Landmark Group from New Zealand, etc.

Alakh Prakash Goyal Shima University (APG University) is known to be one of the best universities in India. While offering almost all majors in vast fields, from UG to PG, APG Shimla University has managed to set a placement record of giving an all in i.e. 100 percent placement. 

Academically, This University focuses on teaching based on practical methods. Students are familiar with internships since the first semester itself. The 26 Acre campus speaks for its classroom, sports complexes, computer libraries, canteen, cafeterias and what not .

Undoubtedly It is not less than Maharaja Agrasen University in any way. If anything, Both the universities are as good as each other.
