The admission process with 12th percentage differs from branch to branch. Whether it is BA in business, BA in english and other major branches the minium precent an aspring candidate would need is 45%.
If you want to do Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech the eliblity criteria would be 50% marks in class 12th with physics and maths as mandatory subjects and the 3rd subject is optional.

The Maharaja Agrasen university is one of the best universities in Himachal Pradesh due to its higher ranking in NIRF. It offers number of programs like postgraduate or undergraduate programs and offers various degree like B.Com, BBA and non medical
courses. It provides extracurricular activities like sports and fests and has better infrastructure.

The Maharaja Agrasen university is more expensive than ICFAI university in whatever programme you choose whether is postgraduate or undergraduate programme. For the validation of your desired branch and duration you can verify from the official website of the above mentioned universities online. The more expense of the Maharaja Agrsen university is due its higher rank In NIRF and various other segments.

The availability of the number of seats is not provided by the institution. However, it is mentioned that 25% of the seats are reserved for bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh in Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh. 15% seats are exclusively reserved for the candidates of Punjab Domicile in Chitkara University, Punjab. The allocation of seats for the reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped/Others) shall be as per the policy of the State Government.

For B.E. programs the seats shall be allocated based on merit ranking of the student in the JEE-MAINS [Feb/Mar/Apr/May). The eligibility criteria for admission to any one of the programs in Engineering is a minimum aggregate of 60% or secure 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in class XII. A candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. It is mandatory for the candidate to have Pass grade in each subject of qualifying examination. The marks will not be rounded off to determine the eligibility criteria e.g. 59.99% will not be considered equivalent to 60.00%.
