Both the Universities have almost similar fees and facilities however, Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University is comparatively expensive as compared to Maharaja Agrasen University in terms of fees for some courses. If Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University is out of your budget, You should definitely go for Maharaja Agrasen University as it is cheaper in some terms.

Both the Universities are good in terms of infrastructure and faculties. However, Maharaja Agrasen University is definitely better in terms of placement records and packages. The university has a record of giving placements to more than 80 percent of students since 5 years. The package has also been decent i.e. 2.8 Lacs Per Annum - 8 Lacs Per Annum for most courses.
Hence, Maharaja Agrasen University offers better placement that Andhra Pradesh Goyal Shimla University.

Maharaja Agrasen University, Shimla is a better option compared to Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University if you are pursuing B.Tech . The university gives better placement opportunities with an average package of INR 6 Lacs Per Annum, which is better than what most private universities offer.

Placements: About 70% of the students in MBA got the placements, during my session the highest package offered is 7.5 lacs by Jaro education and an average package ranging from 2 lacs to 5 lacs normally. For the placements, different companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Tommy Hilfiger, Tata, HP have visited so far. In my course the percent of internships is very low, just 10% of students got internships from the companies, and companies mainly recruit for the junior posts only.
