The University of Southern Denmark & Uppsala University are considered among the best institutions in their regions.

However, both institutions are selective to varying extents at granting admissions to students. The University of Southern Denmark acceptance rate stands at around 35% while that of Uppsala University is around 75%.  Thus, it can be inferred that Uppsala is relatively easier to secure admissions at.

Both LU Accommodation and AF Bostäder have established application deadlines during which spots in their facilities get taken quickly. You should apply as early as you can because novisch housing has the highest demand among new students.
