IIST Kerala and IIT Bhubaneswar are prestigious institutes in India. As per the NIRF Engineering 2023 ranks, IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 47 and IIST ranks 48. Aerospace Engineering at IIST will help you get ready for ISRO; however, Civil Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar will prepare you for various top MNCs. Choosing between these two branches is totally dependent on the candidate's preference.

To prepare for the exam, first of all check the syllabus, get familiar with the syllabus, and then make a study plan. You may study from around 6-9 hours a day, depending on how you can cope and also your retaining power and efficiency. Make it a point to take notes during study, solve problem sets after completing a topic. As you gradually ease into the preparation, you may start solving sample papers as well. But it will take some time until you are able to solve an entire sample paper. Closer to the exam, along with sample papers, take mock tests.
