NIT, Trichy has been ranked one among the NITs for a while now whereas NIT, Surathkal is said to be in top 3 but its position keeps on fluctuating. If we see the MHRD ranking for engineering colleges NIT, Trichy stands at 11th while NIT, Warangal stands at 22nd rank. Coming to the CSE department, the curriculum of both the colleges is similar. In fact, NIT Trichy is one of the best NITs, as far as the admission is concerned a min mark of 250+ is required for electronics, unless you belong to some reserved categories. You can check your eligibility on Shiksha's JEE Main rank predictor.

I dont think, you will be able to rejoin the same course now because there is a ling gap. You can rather take fresh admission (if applicable). I also think that you should get in touch with the college officials for specific information. I think they are the right party to answer the same.
