The total tuition fee for MTech at NIT Trichy is between INR 1.4 Lacs and INR 3.6 lakh. The course fee includes other components such as annual examination fee, one-time admission fee and alumni fee. Selected students have to pay some part of fees at the time of admission to confirm their seats.

NIT Trichy does not conduct any in-house entrance test. It grant admission to the courses on the basis of merit in national-level examinations.
