For admissions into NITs, IIITs and CFTIs admissions, applicants must have obtained a 75% aggregate or be amongst the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. At least 65% of marks are required for SC/ST category candidates.

You can get admission in NIT Trichy easily but your branch could play a major role in it. Last years' cutoff for CSE was 1178 and your rank must be in the range of 1300 to get an admission. So wait for the counselling.

For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE Main ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the class 12th examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th examination conducted by the respective Boards.

The expected CAT cutoff for BIM-Trichy for the general category is above 87 percentile, while for OBC this can be between 75-80 percentile. Hence, you have a chance here.

If you are from general category ,you are not qualified for JEE Adv exam 2019.But that is not the end of the road.
