Applicants have to apply and appear for Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (UPCET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). GATE scores are also accepted for RMLAU Faizabad M. Tech admission. A merit list is published according to the scores of UPCET and applicants must meet the cutoff criteria

RMLNLU admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and Master of Law (LL.M.) is based on CLAT scores followed by the CLAT Counselling. Candidates with a valid CLAT scores are eligible for RMNLU admissions.
