First Step is taking Science in class 12th. PCM is compulsory subjects to give any Engineering Entrance Exams after class 12th. Or, if you are in class 10th right now, you can also choose Polytechnic i.e. Diploma in Engineering in CSE or IT. It is of 3 years. After completing this, you can get direct entry in 2nd year BE /B.Tech.Now, Step no.2:Taking admission in good or very good or government engineering college, as per your respective rank. You should either choose computer science (CS) Engineering or Information Technology (IT) Engineering. After completing BE /B.Tech in CSE or IT, you can be a software engineer or IT engineer or a developer or network administrator or system analyst, etc. There are variety of job roles available for CSE/IT engineers.
