For becoming a software engineer you should complete your degree or Diploma or with equivalent course in computer science or information science. But for ethical hacking there is separate course for it you can do online or offline course as suitable. Following is the link for some ethical hacking certified colleges in India:

MCA course is more better than M.Sc. Computers to become a software engineer because both are good but MCA is a professional course and you have to in a corporate world. So, I prefer MCA.
