Coming to the placements at VIT, Vellore, it is awesome, and even we got a place in Limca book of records in the latest released records. We get more dream offers that is above 6 LPA. Mainly for this branch, we'll have an additional benefit of the post graduation degree in the hands, so we had a great chance of placing in good companies. But it creates the problem when all the branches of VIT like Chennai, Bhopal, and Amravati are dumped in Vellore for the placements, and you can't say hundred percent placement, but worthy ones will have many opportunities. Yes, there are good chances to get a seat for computer science engineering at SASTRA University. Your marks are good and so your percentile will also be good which will place you in a good rank.
Your percentile will be: 94.3(0.75)+120(0.25)= 100.725
SASTRA University will release the rank list on June 10th and so you may check your possibility of getting a top course. You may check them from www.sastra.edu

Hello Bharadwaj, you really have a good percentage in your board exams. so you can surely get a seat. the admission is based on two streams :
stream 1: JEE Main and board exam marks (70%).
stream 2: only board exam marks(30%).
If you apply under stream 1 ,then you need not apply separately for stream 2. If they wish to take you under stream 2, then they will put you under stream 2 and admit you.
But anyways you can get admission with your board exam percentage. Your marks will be converted into percentile like: for example, if you have got 50 marks in jee and 95% in boards then,
50(0.25)+95(0.75)=83.75.
In this way they will put you in a ran
